You are not alone if you are frustrated with our overburdened medical system, and would like to see “care” back in healthcare.
I chose a path to become a clinician with the vow to practice and honor the remedies indigenous to my ancestors of South and North America, as well as the oldest known medicines of Asia.
I have also embraced that I am an activist, artist, ecologist, visionary, and dedicated mother. Frequently I remind myself that my ability to help others is a blessing, and that my Ancestors endured too much for me to be indecisive about my power.
There has never been doubt that systems of oppression have changed the landscape of human health, by silencing generations of traditional herbalists, curanderas, and plant medicine keepers. But I have hope that the tides are changing.

If we are to support the health of the planet and all Earth’s inhabitants, we need reciprocity, kindness, and compassion in action. This is one reason I am offering scholarships to people of culture, who would like to participate in my offerings but need additional support or a discounted rate.
